Delete your Zenkast TV account
Effective: September 5, 2026
Zenkast TV (published by Zenkast) lets you request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, using either the in-app option or an email request below. Both paths result in identical data removal.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Zenkast TV on your Android TV device.
- Focus the playlist chip in the top-right corner of the nav bar and press OK.
- In the dialog that appears, choose “Sign out & delete data” (the destructive action on the right).
This signs you out immediately, invalidates your session token on our servers, and removes all locally-stored data on the device (session token, favorites, region preference, pairing).
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, cannot access the device, or would rather have us process the deletion, email:
Include your Zenkast TV username (the one shown in the app's playlist chip) in the subject line. We'll process the request and confirm by reply within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your Zenkast TV account record and device pairing.
- Session tokens (all paired devices).
- Favorites list (channels, movies, shows).
- Region and app preferences.
- Any backend cache of channel or EPG data tied to your pairing.
What is retained (and for how long)
- Operational request logs (request URLs and timestamps, not linked to a user identity) — retained up to 30 days for troubleshooting and abuse prevention, then automatically purged. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What is not affected
Your IPTV provider account (the server URL, username, and password issued to you by the third-party IPTV service you paired with) is operated by that provider, not by Zenkast. Deleting your Zenkast TV account does not close or refund that separate subscription. To cancel or delete it, contact your IPTV provider directly.
Timeline
- Local data: deleted immediately when you use the in-app option.
- Server-side data: within 7 days of the request (in-app or email).
- Operational logs: purged on the standard 30-day cycle.
